Texas Academic Performance Reports (TAPR)
Visit the Texas Academic Performance Reports (TAPR) page (Opens in a new window) to view the TAPR.
The TAPR report pulls together a wide range of information on the performance of students in each school and district in Texas every year. Performance is shown disaggregated by student groups, including ethnicity and socioeconomic status. The reports also provide extensive information on school and district staff, programs, and student demographics.
Start and End Times
Start time is 8:00 a.m., and the end time is 3:50 p.m.
Homeroom and Lunch Information
In the schedules below, all grade levels have a block of fifth period time between 11:39 a.m. and 1:11 p.m. with a portion of time used for grade level-specific lunch time(s) and the remainder of the time has students reporting to a grade level-specific homeroom time when not at lunch.
The actual lunch times for each grade level are as follows:
Sixth Grade Bell Schedule
The first bell for sixth grade rings at 7:55 a.m. and class begins at 8:00 a.m. Bonham sixth grade students are released at 3:45 p.m.
Seventh and Eighth Grade Bell Schedule
The first bell for seventh and eighth grade is 8:00 a.m. and class begins at 8:05 a.m. Bonham seventh and eighth grade students are released at 3:50 p.m.

ParentSquare
Amarillo ISD and our schools use ParentSquare for school communication primarily with email, text and app notifications.
ParentSquare automatically syncs with Skyward (our District’s student information system) to generate an account for each parent, using their preferred email address and phone number. We encourage parents to access their accounts so they can download the mobile app and update their preferences on when and how they are notified.

Businesses and organizations can submit their flyers (Opens in new window) to the Amarillo Independent School District office. Upon Amarillo ISD approval, the digital flyers are sent to Peachjar subscribers.
