Lorenzo De Zavala Middle School Choir

The Lorenzo de Zavala Middle School Choir program has enjoyed several years of success. Since its inception in 2005, the choir program has excelled in UIL Concert & Sight-reading contest as well as earning top ratings at Greater Southwest Music Festival, Irons Music Festival and American Classic Music Festivals.  Each year our students participate in TMEA All-Region choir and UIL Solo/Ensemble competitions and represent our school well.  The 5th graders in the choir program put on a musical each year and all grade levels participate in fall, Christmas and spring concerts.  We also tour various nursing homes throughout our community during the Christmas holiday season.  As part of the Tascosa High School cluster, our 5th and 6th graders participate in the annual cluster concert.
