October 3, 2025 – Amarillo ISD Career & Technical Education (CTE) co-hosted a Regional Industry & Education Summit along with Canyon ISD, Amarillo College, West Texas A&M, & Region 16. This summit was put together to bring business partners together to discuss how we can better prepare our students for success beyond high school. The Summit will focus on gaining insight on three key areas:

• Essential skills to bridge the gap between education and employment
• Emerging trends, technologies, and skills needed in the prospective fields
• Opportunities for stronger partnerships and student engagement
