Texas Academic Performance Reports (TAPR)
Visit the Texas Academic Performance Reports (TAPR) page (Opens in a new window) to view the TAPR.

The TAPR report pulls together a wide range of information on the performance of students in each school and district in Texas every year. Performance is shown disaggregated by student groups, including ethnicity and socioeconomic status. The reports also provide extensive information on school and district staff, programs, and student demographics.

The start time is 7:55 a.m., and the end time is 3:21 p.m.

Lunch Schedule

• ECSE 11:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.
• Pre-K 4-year-old/ECSE 11:30 a.m. to noon.
• Kindergarten 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
• 1st Grade 11:30 a.m. to noon.
• 2nd Grade noon to 12:30 p.m
• 3rd Grade. 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
• 4th Grade 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Recess Schedule

• Pre-K 4-year-old/ECSE 9:15 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
• Pre-K 4-year-old/ECSE 2:00 p.m. to 2:15 p.m.
• Kindergarten 11:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m., and 1:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.
• 1st Grade 11:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., and 2:15 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
• 2nd Grade noon to 12:15 a.m., and 2:45 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• 3rd Grade 12:30 p.m. to 12:45 p.m., and 2:00 p.m. to 2:15 p.m.
• 4th Grade 10:45 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., and 1:00 p.m. to 1:15 p.m.

ParentSquare
Amarillo ISD and our schools use ParentSquare for school communication primarily with email, text and app notifications.

ParentSquare automatically syncs with Skyward (our District’s student information system) to generate an account for each parent, using their preferred email address and phone number. We encourage parents to access their accounts so they can download the mobile app and update their preferences on when and how they are notified.

Businesses and organizations can submit their flyers (Opens in new window) to the Amarillo Independent School District office. Upon Amarillo ISD approval, the digital flyers are sent to Peachjar subscribers.
