Tapping the skills, experiences, diversity, and resources of those outside of the educational field is essential in preparing each Amarillo Independent School District (AISD) student for success beyond high school. That’s why AISD is also looking for educators with real-world experience.

If you already have a Bachelor’s Degree or are currently working on one, you can quickly become a fully certified teacher in AISD through Path 2 Teaching. AISD provides information on how to obtain a teaching certificate at our annual Path 2 Teaching event. Contact Michelle Wilson (Region 16 office) at 806-677-5060, or michelle.wilson@esc16.net for more information.
