June 25, 2025 – A Woodlands Elementary student has just published her first book. Aazmia Islam, who recently completed second grade at Woodlands, wrote and published the book Jaylyn Grace Wins the Big Race. Aazmia’s mother says the book was inspired by Aazmia’s imagination, creativity and growing love of reading and writing.

Jaylyn Grace just joined her school's track team, and while she is very excited, she is also very scared and nervous. This is due to the fact that she has a big race coming up, which could make or break her track career. Will Jaylyn live up to the expectations, or crack under pressure? Read on to find out!
