January 20, 2026 – Amarillo ISD’s Board of Trustees was recognized by the District at the January 19th school board meeting, for their service to the District and our community. January is School Board Recognition Month in Texas, honoring the dedicated men and women who serve on school boards throughout the state. The members elected to serve Amarillo ISD’s Board of Trustees are: Doyle Corder (Board President), Jon Mark Beilue (Board Vice President), Connie Brown, David Nance, Don Powell, Steve Trafton, and Tom Warren.
