February 3, 2026 – Superintendent Dr. Deidre Parish was among featured speakers at the annual Girl Boss: Women in Business conference, hosted by Amarillo High School at the WT Enterprise Center. Girl Boss gives students a front-row seat to insider pro tips from successful women. Dr. Parish shared stories from her life and career that illustrate lessons in kindness, empathy, confidence and leading as women, including the decision to pursue advanced degrees while having a career and family. Representative Caroline Fairly was another featured speaker.
