April 17, 2026 – Break a leg! In a rare feat, two Amarillo ISD teams will perform in the UIL One-Act Play regional competition on April 23 at Texas Tech. The cast and crews from Tascosa and Palo Duro advanced through the area competition, making them two of the top 24 5A schools in the state. Palo Duro hasn’t been to regionals since 1996, and Tascosa since 2024.
