September 22, 2026 – Tell a junior you know about the opportunity to serve in Amarillo ISD’s AmeriCorps program. As seniors, students selected for AmeriCorps tutor elementary students during the school day, gain community service hours for college applications and earn money and an education reward, all while receiving class credit. Interested students should talk with their high school counselor about applying.
