Gold Card Club Lunch & Learn Attendees Learn Flag Etiquette from ROTC Students

November 5, 2026 – Our first Lunch & Learn with Gold Card Club members and Superintendent Dr. Deidre Parish featured a flag-folding demonstration and a Q&A about flag etiquette led by AISD ROTC cadets. Guests learned the answers to questions such as, can you display a flag outside 24 hours a day? Yes, but only if it is lit. And, should women remove their caps when singing the national anthem? No, typically that courtesy applies only to men.
