These are sessions to give help to families dealing with alcohol or drug abuse. The sessions are free and no pre-registration is required. The sessions are Tuesday evenings 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Weekly Sessions: Abuse to Addiction, Family Roles, Family Rules, Co-dependency, Recovery. You may begin with any session.

There is also Dimmitt, Pampa, Tulia Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse.

ACADA Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program

This intensive outpatient is appropriate for those who are chemically dependent and would benefit from a more structured treatment environment. The classes are held three times a week for 2 hours per session for 8 weeks.  Morning and evening available.

ACADA Outpatient Treatment Program

This treatment is appropriate for those who are substance abusers or chemically dependent but whose prognosis is such that a more intensive, restrictive, or structured environment is not required.  It is appropriate for those who have completed a more intensive program and are in need of additional education and counseling.  Works on sliding scale.  Meets once a week for 3 hours for 12 weeks.

This is a residential and Day treatment chemical treatment facility. It provides an intensive program for patients after detoxification. It encourages healthy and productive lifestyle, family involvement, and transition to outpatient treatment. The structured program consists of educational groups with a cognitive and behavioral focus. Most admissions are eligible for third-party payment through group health insurance of company sponsored health plans.

It offers an Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program for substance abuse and chemical dependency. A person may enroll immediately following inpatient detoxification treatment or enter directly if they have been free of substance use for 72 hours or greater. Some of the highlights of the program are: Group Therapy, Addictive Disorders, Individual Therapy, Dual Diagnosis, Ability to continue in work environment, and family centered program. Available 24 hours a day.

PRIDE will assist youth who strive to overcome the problems associated with substance abuse by providing quality intervention, prevention, and alternative services for youth in the early stages. The student goes for assessment and then enrolls into the program that is needed. The parents must commit strongly to the program before it will work.

This is an intensive Outpatient Center designed to treat the needs of adolescents and adults with alcohol and/or drug problems. The programs are designed especially for the individual to meet their emotional, physical and spiritual needs. The participation from the client's family and other supportive people is encouraged. This is a private, non-governmentally funded treatment program. Most insurance plans are accepted.

This is an inpatient center that helps families with pre-screening for substance abuse. (They use the APSI) This place is for males only. The length of stay is from 14-60 days. They take students ages 13-17 but will take younger or older if they show need for adolescent care. They work on a sliding scale and will not turn anyone away.
