    The TAPR report pulls together a wide range of information on the performance of students in each school and district in Texas every year. Performance is shown disaggregated by student groups, including ethnicity and socioeconomic status. The reports also provide extensive information on school and district staff, programs, and student demographics.

  • ECSE 3-year-old

    The start time is 7:55 a.m., and the end time is 11:30 a.m.
     

    Pre-K and ECSE 4-year-old through Fifth Grade

    The start time is 7:55 a.m., and the end time is 3:21 p.m.

    • Pre-K 4-year-old 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
    • ECSE 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
    • Kindergarten 10:25 a.m. to 10:55 a.m.
    • 1st Grade 10:55 a.m. to 11:25 a.m.
    • 2nd Grade 11:55 a.m. to 12:25 p.m.
    • 3rd Grade 12:25 p.m. to 12:55 p.m.
    • 4th Grade 11:25 a.m. to 11:55 a.m.
    • 5th Grade 12:55 p.m. to 1:25 p.m.

    Recess Schedule

    • ECSE 9:05 a.m. to 9:20 a.m., and 12:30 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. 
    • Pre-K 4-year-old 11:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m., and 1:30 p.m. to 1:45 pm.
    • Kindergarten 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
    • 1st Grade 2:15 p.m. to 2:45 pm 
    • 2nd Grade 12:25 p.m. to 12:55 p.m.
    • 3rd Grade 11:55 a.m. to 12:25 p.m.
    • 4th Grade 1:50 pm. to 2:20 pm
    • 5th Grade 2:45 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.
  • Bullying Report Form
    If you feel your student has been bullied, please make a report using the AISD Bullying Report Form (Opens in new window).

  • ParentSquare
    Amarillo ISD and our schools use ParentSquare for school communication primarily with email, text and app notifications.

    ParentSquare automatically syncs with Skyward (our District’s student information system) to generate an account for each parent, using their preferred email address and phone number. We encourage parents to access their accounts so they can download the mobile app and update their preferences on when and how they are notified.

    Businesses and organizations can submit their flyers (Opens in new window) to the Amarillo Independent School District office. Upon Amarillo ISD approval, the digital flyers are sent to Peachjar subscribers.

    Early childhood education can happen in one of the preschool, kindergarten, or early elementary classrooms available through AISD, but it also happens in homes and in families every day, and we are here to help you through all of it!

    Find Your Student's Teacher or Counselor

    To correspond with a teacher or counselor via email, log into Skyward Family Access (Login screen opens in a new window) and use the instructions below:

    • To contact a teacher, select “Schedule” from the main menu. Click the teacher's name to display the teacher’s email address, and then click the displayed email address to create a message.
    • To contact the counselor, select "Student Information" from the main menu. Click the counselor's name (listed on the Student Information screen as "Advisor") and then click the displayed email address to create a message.

We are passionate about growing our learners to be thinkers, communicators, collaborators, and contributors.
