    Texas Academic Performance Reports (TAPR)
    Visit the Texas Academic Performance Reports (TAPR) page (Opens in a new window) to view the TAPR.

    The TAPR report pulls together a wide range of information on the performance of students in each school and district in Texas every year. Performance is shown disaggregated by student groups, including ethnicity and socioeconomic status. The reports also provide extensive information on school and district staff, programs, and student demographics.

  • Start and End Times

    Start time is 8:00 a.m., and the end time is 3:50 p.m.

    Homeroom and Lunch Information

    In the schedules below, all grade levels have a block of fifth period time between 11:39 a.m. and 1:11 p.m. with a portion of time used for grade level-specific lunch time(s) and the remainder of the time has students reporting to a grade level-specific homeroom time when not at lunch.

    The actual lunch times for each grade level are as follows:

    • Sixth grade lunch is 11:39 a.m. to 12:09 p.m.
    • Seventh grade lunch is 12:10 p.m. to 12:40 p.m.
    • Eighth grade lunch is 12:41 p.m. to 1:11 p.m.

    Sixth Grade Bell Schedule

    The first bell for sixth grade rings at 7:55 a.m. and class begins at 8:00 a.m. Bonham sixth grade students are released at 3:45 p.m.

    • 1st period 8:00 a.m. to 8:54 a.m.
    • 2nd period 8:58 a.m. to 9:47 a.m.
    • 3rd period 9:51 a.m. to 10:40 a.m.
    • 4th period 10:44 a.m. to 11:35 a.m.
    • 5th period (Lunch) 11:39 a.m. to 1:11 p.m.
    • 6th period 1:15 p.m. to 2:04 p.m.
    • 7th period 2:08 p.m. to 2:57 p.m.
    • 8th period 3:01 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.

    Seventh and Eighth Grade Bell Schedule

    The first bell for seventh and eighth grade is 8:00 a.m. and class begins at 8:05 a.m. Bonham seventh and eighth grade students are released at 3:50 p.m.

    • 1st period 8:05 a.m. to 8:54 a.m.
    • 2nd period 8:58 a.m. to 9:47 a.m.
    • 3rd period 9:51 a.m. to 10:40 a.m.
    • 4th period 10:44 a.m. to 11:35 a.m.
    • 5th period (Lunch) 11:39 a.m. to 1:11 p.m.
    • 6th period 1:15 p.m. to 2:04 p.m.
    • 7th period 2:08 p.m. to 2:57 p.m.
    • 8th period 3:01 p.m. to 3:50 p.m.

  • Bullying Report Form
    If you feel your student has been bullied, please make a report using the AISD Bullying Report Form (Opens in new window).

  • ParentSquare
    Amarillo ISD and our schools use ParentSquare for school communication primarily with email, text and app notifications.

    ParentSquare automatically syncs with Skyward (our District’s student information system) to generate an account for each parent, using their preferred email address and phone number. We encourage parents to access their accounts so they can download the mobile app and update their preferences on when and how they are notified.

    Peachjar Digital Flyers

    Businesses and organizations can submit their flyers (Opens in new window) to the Amarillo Independent School District office. Upon Amarillo ISD approval, the digital flyers are sent to Peachjar subscribers.

    Find Your Student's Teacher or Counselor

    To correspond with a teacher or counselor via email, log into Skyward Family Access (Login screen opens in a new window) and use the instructions below:

    • To contact a teacher, select “Schedule” from the main menu. Click the teacher's name to display the teacher’s email address, and then click the displayed email address to create a message.
    • To contact the counselor, select "Student Information" from the main menu. Click the counselor's name (listed on the Student Information screen as "Advisor") and then click the displayed email address to create a message.

At Bonham Middle School, our mission is to help graduate every student prepared for life and success beyond high school. Our school motto is: Effort + Endurance = Success!

Our motto sets a high expectation for all of our students, parents, teachers and school community. We are committed to making connections with our students, helping us form relationships that will keep them engaged. Our commitment to you is that your student will be encouraged and challenged every day because that is the Mustang Way!
