    Visit the Texas Academic Performance Reports (TAPR) page (Opens in a new window) to view the TAPR.

    The TAPR report pulls together a wide range of information on the performance of students in each school and district in Texas every year. Performance is shown disaggregated by student groups, including ethnicity and socioeconomic status. The reports also provide extensive information on school and district staff, programs, and student demographics.

    • The tardy bell for 6th & 8th Grade is 8:00 a.m.
    • The end time for 6th & 8th Grade is 3:50 p.m.

    7th Grade

    • The tardy bell for 7th Grade is 7:57 a.m.
    • The end time for 7th Grade is 3:47 p.m.

    • 1st period 8:00 a.m. to 8:50 a.m.
    • 2nd period 8:53 a.m. to 9:44 a.m.
    • 3rd period 9:47 a.m. to 10:37 a.m.
    • 4th period 10:40 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
    • 5th period ranges from 11:33 a.m. to 1:11 p.m. with students taking a lunch at one of the time slots below:
      • 1st lunch 11:33 a.m. to 12:03 p.m.
      • 2nd lunch 12:07 p.m. to 12:37 p.m.
      • 3rd lunch 12:41 p.m. to 1:11 p.m.
    • 6th period 1:14 p.m. to 2:04 p.m.
    • 7th period 2:07 p.m. to 2:57 p.m. 
    • 8th period 3:00 p.m. to 3:50 p.m.

    7th Grade

    • 1st period 7:57 a.m. to 8:47 a.m.
    • 2nd period 8:50 a.m. to 9:41 a.m.
    • 3rd period 9:44 a.m. to 10:34 a.m.
    • 4th period 10:37 a.m. to 11:27 a.m.
    • 5th period ranges from 11:30 a.m. to 1:08 p.m. with students taking a lunch at one of the time slots below:
      • 1st lunch 11:33 a.m. to 12:03 p.m.
      • 2nd lunch 12:07 p.m. to 12:37 p.m.
      • 3rd lunch 12:41 p.m. to 1:11 p.m.
    • 6th period 1:11 p.m. to 2:01 p.m.
    • 7th period 2:04 p.m. to 2:54 p.m. 
    • 8th period 2:57 p.m. to 3:47 p.m.

    If you feel your student has been bullied, please make a report using the AISD Bullying Report Form (Opens in new window).

  • ParentSquare
    Amarillo ISD and our schools use ParentSquare for school communication primarily with email, text and app notifications.

    ParentSquare automatically syncs with Skyward (our District’s student information system) to generate an account for each parent, using their preferred email address and phone number. We encourage parents to access their accounts so they can download the mobile app and update their preferences on when and how they are notified.

  • STAAR Results
    To log in and learn your child's score, follow the directions on the Texas Assessment website (Opens in new window). You will be asked to log into the Texas Assessment data portal with your child's access code and date of birth.

    If you do not know your child's access code click "FIND MY UNIQUE STUDENT ACCESS CODE."

    You will then enter your Student's First Name, PEIMS ID (Social Security Number) and Date of Birth.

    Find Your Student's Teacher or Counselor

    To correspond with a teacher or counselor via email, log into Skyward Family Access (Login screen opens in a new window) and use the instructions below:

    • To contact a teacher, select “Schedule” from the main menu. Click the teacher's name to display the teacher’s email address, and then click the displayed email address to create a message.
    • To contact the counselor, select "Student Information" from the main menu. Click the counselor's name (listed on the Student Information screen as "Advisor") and then click the displayed email address to create a message.

    If you do not have Skyward Family Access login credentials or need assistance with your account, please visit the District website's Skyward Family Access page (Opens in new window).

    To contact a teacher or counselor by telephone, contact the campus main office at 806-326-3300. 

Students

  • Bullying Report Form
    If you feel you or another student has been bullied, please make a report using the AISD Bullying Report Form (Opens in new window).

  • High school and middle school campus administrators shall have the discretion to determine the appropriate use of electronic devices outside the school day for students participating in extra-curricular activities while on school property or while attending school-sponsored or school-related activities on or off school property.

    Teachers and administrators may confiscate electronic devices used in violation of this policy. Students who repeatedly violate this policy may be subject to established disciplinary measures.

    • For each offense, the student’s parent or guardian will be notified that a device has been confiscated.
    • When a device has been confiscated during a semester, a $15.00 fee may be charged to return the device. If the fee is not paid, the device will be kept by the school until the end of the school year.
    • Anytime a device is confiscated, $15.00 may be charged in order for the device to be returned.

    Principals may designate a time and day of the week to return cell phones and other electronic devices that have been confiscated during the previous seven days. The school will keep a log of all confiscated devices and will receipt each return. All fees collected are designated to be used for security hardware on the campus.

    At the end of the school year, principals shall designate a period of time for unclaimed devices to be picked up. A $15.00 fee may be charged to return each device. If the $15.00 fee is not paid and the device is not claimed within the designated time period, it will be held until the second week of June.
