Palo Duro High School Theatre Arts

Shannon MashburnDirector: Shannon Mashburn shannon.mashburn@amaisd.org
I've been teaching at Palo Duro High School since 1998 and I love it. I feel lucky to combine my two favorite things, teaching and theatre. I believe that every person benefits from exposure to the arts. I hope to inspire a lifelong love and passion for theatre in every student. I am a director as well as an actor. I have been performing for over 30 years, and directing for 18 years. I am very active at Amarillo Little Theatre where I perform, volunteer and teach part time. I'm a graduate of the University of North Texas. I have a BAAS degree in Theatre, Behavior Analysis and Sociology. I am married and have 2 daughters, 3 dogs and a cat. Shannon Mashburn was awarded the KAMR Teacher of the Week Award and the KAMR/Education Credit Union Teacher of the Month.
