The “Stories” series is directed by AISD’s Creative Visual Communications Coordinator Blake Cartrite and edited by AISD’s Creative Visual Communications Specialist Kyler Kuykendall.
As part of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, Lone Star Emmy is the standard bearer for excellence in the Texas television broadcasting industry.
This is the second Lone Star Emmy win for the Stories series and the fourth Emmy overall for AISD. Previously, the original, educational children's television program "The Secret Classroom" earned a Lone Star Emmy, two Telly Awards, a Communicator Award in 2020, and an Emmy in 2021.
