Dr. Teri Bingham Named to Professorship

June 3, 2025 – Dr. Teri Bingham, a respected veteran of WT's Department of Education, is the University's new Doug Loomis Professor of Education, a position established in honor of the retiring AISD Superintendent Emeritus Doug Loomis, according to the University.  The professorship was announced in March, after a $125,000 gift from an anonymous donor. In addition to the professorship, the donor also established a scholarship fund honoring Mr. Loomis, who earned his master’s in education from WT.
