In today’s update, AISD announces changes to student curbside meal distribution as well as new locations for WiFi access for students.
While our school buildings are closed, Amarillo ISD will continue to provide At-Home Learning and free meals for our students. Gathering food supplies is an allowable reason to leave your home as stated in the City of Amarillo’s Stay at Home guidelines.
Beginning Monday, April 6, AISD families will be able to pick up lunch and breakfast at the same time: As of Monday, April 6, breakfast will no longer be available for pick-up from 7:00 – 9:00 AM. Instead, all meal sites will supply lunch, along with breakfast for the next day, during the lunch pick-up times. A total of 16 school locations are available for meal pick-up from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM Monday through Friday. PLEASE NOTE: There will be NO meal pick-up available on Friday, April 10, due to the school holiday for Good Friday.
