May 20, 2020 -- Amarillo ISD will celebrate seniors this coming weekend with televised broadcasts of the District’s virtual graduation video and a virtual graduation party on social media.
AISD has partnered with KFDA-NewsChannel 10 and KCIT-Fox 14 to broadcast the special virtual commencement ceremony, “AISD Class of 2020 Graduation Celebration,” on May 23 and 24, the same weekend in-person graduation ceremonies were originally scheduled. Each school’s virtual graduation ceremony will air on TV and online.
Saturday, May 23, 5 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Tascosa High School: 7 p.m.
Amarillo High School: 8 p.m.

To complete the virtual celebration theme, AISD is hosting a virtual graduation party on Facebook at facebook.com/AmarilloISD all weekend long. Plans include sneak peeks of the virtual graduation video, a shared video stream of the broadcast from TV station websites and other fun elements for graduates, their friends and families to share with their own Facebook community.
