Ticket Options Announced for Fall Athletic Events

September 17, 2020 – Amarillo ISD announces a number of ticketing options for fans who want to watch student athletes in action this fall in the District’s informational video series For the Record.

Because of COVID-19 precautions, attendance at Dick Bivins Stadium and AISD school activity centers is capped at 50 percent. Though the District doesn’t anticipate having to turn fans away, even with the cap, there are additional opportunities offered to secure tickets in advance.

New this year, some AISD varsity home football games will be televised live on NewsChannel 10 Too, while the others will be livestreamed at newschannel10.com. These games can also be viewed on the NewsChannel 10 app and on Roku, Apple TV, Fire TV and smart TVs.

For fans who wish to attend varsity football at Dick Bivins Stadium:

  • Digital tickets can be purchased Monday through Wednesday from 8 a.m. to noon for games on Thursday and Friday via the online vendor Ticket Spicket, www.ticketspicket.com, or the Ticket Spicket app.

  • Presale paper tickets are available Thursday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the stadium northeast ticket booth.

  • Tickets can also be purchased on game night beginning at 5:45 p.m. from both ticket booths. Gate tickets are first come, first served, meaning some fans could have to sit on the competing team’s side, depending on capacity and advance ticket sales.

  • Teacher badges, gold cards, student athletes and district passes can be exchanged for a ticket at the ticket booths. Seating is first come, first served.

For fans who wish to attend volleyball or basketball games at AISD school activity centers:

  • Digital tickets via Ticket Spicket are available on Monday from 8 a.m. to noon for matches on Tuesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to noon for matches on Friday and Saturday.

  • Tickets can be purchased from activity center ticket booths, but are limited based on capacity after presale purchases. Game day tickets are first come, first served seating.

  • Teacher badges, gold cards, student athletes and district passes can be exchanged for a ticket at the ticket booths. Seating is first come, first served.

More information about AISD fall athletic events can be found on our website and in the District’s For the Record video message.
