Partners in Education Recognized at Awards Banquet

April 14, 2014 – Amarillo ISD will recognize the dedication of the thousands of volunteers supporting students and their schools Tuesday, April 15 at 6 p.m. during the Partners in Education Awards Banquet held in the Amarillo Civic Center Heritage Room. This annual event allows the district to share their gratitude for the partnerships community groups and members have formed with schools providing tools and mentorships necessary to educate students.

“Our students’ success is due in part to the wonderful businesses and volunteers who share their knowledge and skills with our students,” Community Partnerships Program Director Denise Blanchard said. “We appreciate the attention these groups give to help educate our students.”
