New Viewing Option Available for Graduation Ceremonies

May 23, 2018—Graduation ceremonies for the nearly 1,900 scholars of Amarillo ISD’s Class of 2018 will be broadcast via Livestream for the first time this year.  

Tascosa High School kicks off commencement with an 8 p.m. Friday ceremony at the Amarillo Civic Center. Amarillo High School, Caprock High School and Palo Duro High School follow on Saturday with ceremonies at 10:30 a.m., 2 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. respectively. 

As part of ongoing efforts to improve both the atmosphere and safety at graduations, tickets are required for guests. Every graduating senior was provided with ten tickets. Additional viewing space is available in an overflow room at the Amarillo Civic Center. Guests should keep in mind city parking fees may apply this year while parking downtown.

Additionally, all ceremonies will be broadcast live on Suddenlink channel 10 and new this year, ceremonies will also be livestreamed from the links listed below.
