Reopening Plan Information

The District’s development of a foundational reopening plan has been developed in accordance with Texas Education Agency’s (TEA) guidance. Reopening guidance changes frequently, therefore, seeking broad-based input is challenging.  

Our commitment is to gather collaborative input as we continue to monitor and adjust plans for reopening. As campuses return to work, campus committees (i.e. Site-Based Decision Making Committees, Safety Committees, and Instructional Committees) will use this foundation to establish individualized campus plans and protocols. These committees provide clarity and structure to implementation guidelines specific to their individual campuses, which impacts District decisions.
